Azizia Library is a renowned book store in Jessore town of Bangladesh. It is situated in Daratana of Jessore Sadar, Jessore, Bangladesh.

This book store is under the property of Md. Mizanur Rahman, my father. Almost all types of books of schools, colleges and madrasas can be found here. The manager of this book store is Md Ruhul Amin, middle aged man and very honest almost working here since 18 years.

As we know that Jessore sadar is not a disaster prone city, so I haven’t seen and heard about any type of disaster here since our family had shifted to Jessore from Commilla district of Bangladesh.

But different types of hazards can be seen. Actually these hazards are man-made. My father and my uncle have said me that they have to face different types of pollution made by auto bikes, car, truck, bus etc vehicles. These seriously cause many types of diseases to the other businessmen and their stuffs beside our book store. My father also was sick last month.

We, actually the book store somiti (group) already have complained to the district commissioner about these. He has promised us that he’ll definitely take an action about this.

Moreover fire attack risk is also available here. We have a fire station in our Jessore city but if fire catches a book store then other book stores will be affected with this easily. Then the fire station and the fire workers cannot control that so easily. So all these businessmen are facing a serious threat by this fire and we can also say they have no action plan for this fire. In addition the somiti (group) has not enough money to give the compensation if there’ll serious damage.

Some days ago by taking the permission of my father and talking with some businessman, I went to the fire station with some of the stuffs of other book store.

We talked about the risk and the officer of the fire workers have assured us that they will take actions for this matter. But they also suggested us to buy the necessary materials concerned with fire. We are looking forward to buy those materials very soon.
