Description
The main objective of Multi Hazard Vulnerability and Risk Assessment (MHVRA) is to provide a dynamic tool for the DRM officials within the government and humanitarian/development agencies at the district level for improved and informed DRR, preparedness and contingency planning. The study will assess the vulnerabilities of selected communities to various hazards and provide a comprehensive picture of their impact as well as determine the degree of exposure to future hazardous events. The study is expected to outline clear actions that will help reduce vulnerability and to present role and responsibilities at provincial/district/community level for open discussion and agreement.
