Description

ADPC together WHO-SEARO and the Ministry of Health in Indonesia will plan, develop and implement the National PHEMAP Program in Indonesia. The purpose of this activity is to plan, design and package the PHEMAP course materials, including course manuals and presentations, for use in the National PHEMAP course in Indonesia.

It is proposed that a National PHEMAP Curriculum Committee will be formed to oversee the curriculum planning and development process. The Committee will convene a curriculum development workshop together with the PHEMAP inter-regional graduates, WHO-SEARO, ADPC and other national stakeholders. The curriculum development workshop will give attention to the following issues:

- appropriateness of PHEMAP course objectives
- course curriculum framework and methodologies
- curriculum content and alignment of existing course modules
- identify course content providers
- identify lead and co-facilitators with their respective assignments
- plan for the schedule, participants and other admin arrangements of the pilot course, 4th quarter of 2012
