1.Assess and recommend ways to address critical factors responsible for destabilization of slopes and trigger landslide events 2.Collecting and documenting good practices for early warning of landslides in participating countries to help replication within the region 3.Introduce and develop existing and new concepts pertaining to establishment of precipitation thresholds values for landslides in different geological materials. 4.Provide input to local and regional multi-hazard platforms for early warning and propose suitable mitigation measures in areas that require immediate attention.
