Description

? ADPC, WHO-WPRO, and WHO-SEARO jointly developed the PHEMAP curriculum in 2001. Subsequently, ADPC has been implementing the inter-regional PHEMAP courses with funding support from WHO and the Royal Government of Norway. These courses focus on improving the management and coordination abilities of public health managers in their roles as risk managers, program managers, operations managers and leaders. ? To promote and facilitate regional collaboration and national coordination in health emergency management through the development and implementation of formal and informal networks and other activities. From November 30th 2011 to April 30th 2012, ADPC will conduct the revision of curriculum and material of PHEMAP (Generation 3)program. - convene the curriculum revision team - coordinate the activities of the curriculum revision team - organize the workshop to revise the materials together with content experts - submit revised curriculum and training materials

Output

? The 7th Inter-regional PHEMAP course was organized by ADPC and WHO (SEARO/WPRO), with the funding support from the Royal Government of Norway conducted in Bangkok last 18-29 June 2007. ? ADPC has conducted the First National PHEMAP Course Coordinators workshop to strengthen the linkages between the Inter-regional and National PHEMAP courses and provides support for national PHEMAP courses in Asia.
