To enable health facilities to prepare for and conduct exercises, a Guide on exercise management in health facilities will be developed for Ministries of Health and health facility managers. The guidance will also provide generic exercise plan outlines which can be adapted by Ministries of Health and health facilities according to national/local priorities and circumstances.

Review existing guidance from WHO and other organizations on exercise management Adapt guidance to produce a basic guide on how to manage exercises for health facility managers Adapt or develop 9 model exercise plans, comprising objectives, scenarios, exercise, concepts, issues for discussion or assessment, and evaluation checklist for conducting health facility exercises.
