All technical and administrative support will be provided by the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC). The ADPC shall be responsible for the professional and technical competence of its professional staffs and consultants and will put the reliable individuals who will perform effectively in the implementation of the assignment, respect the local customs, and conform to a high standard of moral and ethical conduct. The financial support is from UNDP, Iraq.


The main objective of this assignment is to deliver Tailored Training Program to the Joint Crisis Coordination Centre, Erbil, Kurdistan region by developing learning needs assessment, training design and tailoring of a training program, delivery of the 8 trainings as well as monitoring and evaluation of learning outcomes of the following four thematic areas within the field disaster and crisis management:

- Information Management, Analysis and Reporting;

- Crisis and Recovery Needs Assessment;

- Disaster and Crisis Response Planning; and

- Crisis and Recovery Coordination


The delivery of trainings and building capacities of the key staff of Joint Crisis Coordination Centre (JCC) will contribute:

- To strengthen JCC leadership and effectiveness in crisis management to ensure the safety and welfare of the civilian population during disasters and crises.

- To support the JCC on the path of institutional development and human capacity building.
