ADPC is proud to be a part of the AIDF Asia: Aid & Response Summit 2015 that will take place 16–18 June 2015 at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok.

The summit will focus on new ways to improve aid and development in the Asia-Pacific with a focus on building resilience to disasters and climate change.

Noteworthy topics related to ADPC include business resilience, which relates to ADPC’s iPrepare Business program, and the use of new technology to enhance disaster preparedness, which is in line with many of ADPC’s projects including the SERVIR Mekong program.

Other compelling topics include improving the interaction between media and the response teams/aid agencies during emergencies, collaboration of media and government agencies to communicate warnings and community advice, effective communication and new trends, and how to better collaborate with the private sector.

The event will gather over 300 participants from senior representatives and advisors from regional governments, investors, UN agencies, NGOs, research institutes and the private sector.
