ADPC is featured on a new short documentary Tsunami: Walking the last mile published by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). The video looks at the work done to fill the gaps in disaster prevention, risk reduction and warning systems, which contributed to the huge loss in the Indian Ocean Tsunami in 2004.

"The tsunami was an eye-opener for the disaster management community in the region," states ADPC's Early Warning Program Specialist Atiq Kainan Ahmed in the documentary.
