The Dartmouth Flood Observatory website is a research tool for detection, mapping, measurement and analysis of worldwide extreme flood events using satellite remote sensing. It provides yearly catalogs of large river floods, and is developing methods for obtaining globally-consistent measurements of such events.

The Denmark DHI Water and Environment website provides consultancy and technological assistance. It has information on projects and research work in flood management, flood forecasting and urban floods, among others. It also provides some online publications and documents.

The Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre of Bangladesh monitors rainfall and water levels throughout Bangladesh. The Centre prepares a status report, forecasts water levels for up to three days in advance and issues flood warnings when necessary. The site also provides historical flood information on Bangladesh, forecasts and satellite images.
