HIMAL, The South Asian Magazine
This is the Web site of Himal, which is published monthly from Kathmandu and focuses on South Asian issues. Old issues of Himal are archived on this Web site. Of particular interest to our readers will be the January 1999 issue where the cover article by Dinesh Kumar Mishra describes the political economy of floods and their management in the North Indian state of Bihar.
