ADPC Knowledge Academy launched Training Schedule for 2026

Bangkok, 12 January 2026 - The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC)’s Knowledge Academy has announced its ADPC Training schedule 2026 and introduced a refined training curriculum dedicated to enhancing regional capacities in disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, risk financing, and sustainable development across Asia and the Pacific.
For over four decades, ADPC has been at the forefront of empowering governments, development partners, and practitioners with the knowledge and skills needed to reduce disaster impacts and safeguard communities.
In 2025, participants from various countries, such as Bhutan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Philippines, Tajikistan, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, Myanmar, Lao PDR, Nigeria, Indonesia, Belgium, Egypt, Georgia, Kenya, Malaysia, South Africa, Tonga, Algeria, Argentina, Austria, Benin, Cuba, Ecuador, India, Iraq, Japan, Mali, Mauritius, Niger, Samoa, Timor-Leste and United States of America actively participated in regional and customized training courses of the ADPC Knowledge Academy.
What does the ADPC Knowledge Academy offer?
The ADPC Knowledge Academy serves as a hub for innovative learning, offering a diverse range of training programs designed to address the evolving challenges of Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Adaptation. Combining in-person and online modalities, the Academy delivers transformative learning experiences through interactive methodologies and tools.
In collaboration with key organizations and universities, such as the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Naresuan University, and the University of Melbourne. We implemented comprehensive training initiatives designed to advance knowledge and skills in disaster and climate resilience.
ADPC Knowledge Academy’s capacity development initiatives equip stakeholders with the knowledge and skills needed to implement risk-informed policies, foster sustainable development, and build climate resilience.
ADPC strives to share its expertise to support disaster preparedness and climate resilience upholding the principles of leaving no one behind.
