ADPC was invited to provide technical support in developing a three-day training course cum exercise by Save the Children China on child-centered disaster risk management. The objective of the training was to equip local government officials, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), schools, and local community members with community-based disaster risk management skills and to consider children’s specific needs and include them into the process, which is a new concept in the region.
