On 27 May 2022, the ADPC program team paid a courtesy visit to the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Hanoi. The team provided updates on implementation of the 5-year Urban Resilience to Climate Extremes in Southeast Asia (URCE) program in My Tho and Nam Dinh Cities funded by Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad). The Norway Embassy officials appreciated the sharing of information and encouraged ADPC to provide any succeeding program updates to the Embassy in the future.

The Royal Norwegian Embassy has been supporting the capacity development of some agencies in Vietnam. It is mainly on strengthening technical capacity of local experts in the field of landslide risk management and land subsidence monitoring. The Embassy officials suggested to connect with these agencies and experts in Viet Nam in implementing the URCE program, whenever possible.
