Dhaka, Bangladesh – On October 31, 2024, the Bangladesh Preparedness Partnership (BPP), led by the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR) and technically supported by the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), organized a significant workshop in Dhaka to commemorate the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR).

ADPC Welcomes New Sri Lankan Ambassador to Thailand

Bangkok, ThailandBangkok, August 30, 2024 – The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) warmly welcomes H.E. Mrs. E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe the newly appointed Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand. Sri Lanka is among the nine founding member countries that has ratified the ADPC Charter along with Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Thailand. The Ambassador represents Sri Lanka as member of ADPC Board of Trustee (BoT).
