ADPC Head office, Thailand – On 15 February 2023, Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), research team members of the Purdue Policy Research Institute (PPRI), and LASER PULSE focal persons convened as part of an institutional exchange on the ‘Evaluation of Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) Programs for BHA/East Asia and the Pacific (EAP)’.
ADPC Strengthening Collaboration with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of Thailand
Bangkok, Thailand – In a significant move towards strengthening disaster resilience in Thailand, ADPC, along with its partner, the Thai Network for Disaster Resilience (TNDR), discussed with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) possible collaboration activities in 2024 to support the implementation of the Thailand National Disaster Risk Management Plan 2023-2027. This collaboration marks a critical step forward in the nation's efforts to enhance its preparedness, response, and recovery strategies in the face of increasing disaster risks.
