Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) presents an insightful success story from a training recipient and medical practitioner responding to COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh.

The case study was developed through the Strengthening Earthquake Resilience in Bangladesh (SERB) program and Program for Enhancement of Emergency Response (PEER) in South Asia with support from the United States Agency for International Development, Bureau for Humanitarian Affairs (USAID/BHA).

Self-care, mental health and gender approaches during the COVID-19 pandemic

Bangkok, Thailand – Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) and the Philippine Embassy in Thailand conducted a workshop on ‘Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Gender Approaches Pertinent to Filipinos during COVID-19’. The workshop aimed to familiarize Embassy staff with basic concepts on mental health, gender and self-care.

Making in-roads into Afghanistan to upskill emergency response capacities

The program is funded by the United States Agency for International Development, Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (USAID BHA).
