Announcement: list of ADPC courses rescheduled for 2021

In an effort to protect the health and wellbeing of our training instructors and participants amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) has decided to reschedule some of its courses planned this year for 2021.

Climate Adaptation and Resilience for South Asia project promotes integrated approaches

Development gains in South Asia are already in peril due to the increasing frequency and intensity of floods, cold and heat waves, droughts, wind storms, and cyclones. In response, Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) has initiated the implementation of a World Bank-funded project, "Climate Adaptation and Resilience for South Asia," or CARE for South Asia.

No one left behind: an inclusive approach to localization

Bangkok, Thailand – ADPC through its Asian Preparedness Partnership (APP) program and Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) co-organized the second meeting of the Regional Technical Working Group on 'Inclusive Approaches in Localization' (RTWF-IAL) to discuss a training curriculum for local organizations on early warning, evacuation and camp management.
