Board of Trustee Meeting outlines the ADPC priorities for safer communities in Asia and the Pacific
Bangkok, Thailand – Bangkok, Thailand – July 26, 2024: The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) held its 5th Board of Trustees (BoT) in Bangkok on 25 July 2024, focusing on the evolving landscape of disaster and climate risks in Asia and the Pacific.
Simulation Drills to test Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) of three Urban Primary Healthcare Centers (UPHCCs) in Dhaka
Dhaka, Bangladesh – As part of the "Bangladesh Resilience Advancement in City Ecosystems" (BRACE) Program initiated in in June 2023, with support from the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, Simulation Drills to test Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) of three Urban Primary Healthcare Centers (UPHCCs)in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) were carried out in November 2024.

Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt – Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), together with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Japan Water Forum, organized a panel discussion on ‘Actions for Scaling-up Effective Investments in Climate Adaptation and Resilience’ at the 27th United Nations Conference of Parties (COP27) in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt on 14 November 2022.
