UNICEF supported the SAARC Framework on Child Centered Disaster Risk Reduction (CCDRR), capacity development in UNICEF offices and NDMAs/ DMCs of South Asia, starting with CCDRR, CCRA and CSS was a crucial step towards implementation of the CCDRR Road Map.For such capacity development to take place, expert institutions like the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) implemented training schemes at a large scale and at a multilevel approach in the region and country office setting.
