Asian Disaster Preparedness Center and the National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining a framework for future collaboration between the two organizations.

ADPC will be providing the National Disaster Management Authority with technical assistance in disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation in support of the Pakistani Government’s ongoing efforts to accelerate the implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.

The National Disaster Management Authority is the federal-level lead agency for disaster management in Pakistan and the executive arm of the National Disaster Management Commission.
