The conference is expected to result in the adoption of a post-2015 framework for disaster risk reduction that will follow the Hyogo Framework for Action implemented in 2005–2015. ADPC is one among many civil society groups, NGO’s, intergovernmental agencies, stakeholders and national governments partaking in the conference.
ADPC will host two events titled Climate Services and Applications for Disaster and Climate Risk Management in Changing Environment and Bridging the gap of science applications for disaster risk management. Additionally, ADPC will be participating in multiple side events and forums throughout the conference – the program can be viewed here.
