During the second week of March, Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) will launch its new ‘iPrepare’ campaign in Hanoi, Vietnam.
iPrepare aims to increase students’ knowledge of disaster risk reduction. The campaign invites students at Vietnam National University and Hanoi School of Public Health to participate by creating a news story about their local community’s preparations for natural hazards and submitting it on the iPrepare website.
The campaign was designed to build students’ capacity to understand disaster resiliency and how they can contribute to better preparing their communities. Additionally, it aims to develop students’ understanding of the cross-cutting nature of disaster preparedness in their prospective career fields.
The iPrepare campaign is supported by the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
