Bangkok, Thailand

Asian Disaster Preparedness Center has launched a new corporate website in order to better serve its partners, stakeholders and the media. The new website provides easy access to the research outputs and data produced by ADPC on disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.

“We have acknowledged the growing need to provide well-structured and accessible information on disaster preparedness. Through the new website, we aim to deliver scientific information transformed into a language that is easy to understand for the public,” said ADPC’s Executive Director Mr. Shane Wright.

The new website has been developed with support from the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“ADPC’s work is extremely relevant considering the increase of climate-related natural disasters all over the region,” said H.E. Katja Christina Nordgaard, Norwegian Ambassador to Thailand at the launch event of the website.

ADPC has put considerable efforts into developing its communication strategy and related information management systems with support from the Norwegian government
