The 11th meeting of the Regional Consultative Committee on Disaster Management (RCC) will be held on 1 - 3 April 2014 in Nai Pyi Taw in Myanmar. The topic of the meeting is reducing disaster risk and transforming development.

The Regional Consultative Committee on Disaster Management comprises of members who are working in key government positions in the national disaster management systems of countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Its role is to identify disaster-related needs and priorities in the countries in the region; to promote regional and sub-regional cooperative programs; and to develope regional action strategies for disaster reduction.

RCC was established from the initiative of Asian Disaster Preparedness Center in 2000.
