ADPC and Good Neighbors have started a "Community Resilience and Response Capacity" project in Busan, South Korea. In this connection, a letter of agreement was signed with the Busan Metropolitan City Fire & Safety Headquarters to jointly implement activities focused on fire preparedness and prevention in one of the communities where fire is regarded as a major hazard.

Mr. Park, Eok Jo, Major Fire Marshal of the Busan Fire & Safety Headquarters, welcomed the support and assured of his cooperation for undertaking different activities installing fire-fighting equipment and imparting training and education to the community members of fire prevention and household-level preparedness.

The Director of Good Neighbors in Busan, Mr. Kwang-ho Bae, discussed the key role the Busan Fire & Safety Headquarters will play in strengthening the fire preparedness and prevention capacity of the identified community in the province.
