Training

WHAT WE OFFER

OUR ADVANTAGES

ADPC’s in-house experts work on curriculum and course material development, revision and training methodology to suit the interest and needs of each course. The training team works closely with other departments in the organization to ensure each course offers a high-level of expertise in each respective field of disaster risk reduction.

ADPC offers a wide-range of training courses. Participants may choose to engage the organization’s annual regional flagship course, or a tailor-made course to suit specific needs or to gain an understanding of managing a specific hazard, for example, at the country-level. Additionally, at the country-level, ADPC provides technical assistance to standardize and deliver localized training courses.

ADPC also conducts trainings on behalf of other regional agencies, on request. In the past, ADPC has worked jointly with SAARC, ASEAN, USFS and Channel Research, for example.
