The Baan Tung Kong Moo Core-member meeting at village 3, Tambol
Pang Moo, Muang District to implement a pilot project on “Sufficiency
Economy Community” initiated by HM the King was held on
February 26, 2006. The project aims to provide techniques on
cultivation under limited amount of water and to promote local
handicrafts. A solar pump system was provided to solve the water
supply problem. The community located near Pai River was given
a training course on CBDRM by the provincial Department of Disaster
