
Aloysius J. Rego
Team Leader
Loy joined ADPC in August 1996. Since November 1999 he heads the newly created Planning, Development and Partnerships Division. Prior to this post, he has served as a Senior Manager, ADPC Learning and Professional Development activities and managed ADPC's technical assistance programs to countries of the region.
Prior to joining ADPC, he worked for over ten years as Joint Director in the National Safety Council of India. He has over 18 years experience in occupational safety, and health and industrial disaster preparedness. He is a Mechanical Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai and has a post graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety from the Central Labour Institute, Bombay.

Thanongdeth Insisiengmay
Project Manager
Thanongdeth joined ADPC in August 2005 as Program Manager. He is responsible for the on-going GTZ funded project entitled "Flood Emergency Management Strengthening" under the Flood Management and Mitigation Programme (FMMP) of the Mekong River Commission (MRC).
Prior to joining ADPC, he served the MRC for over 10 years in the fields of improvement of hydrometeorological data collection, flood management and mitigation, capacity building and training, development and management of projects and programmes, etc. He is a water resources engineer from the University of Technology , Dresden , Germany and has master of engineering science in hydrology and development technology from the University of Melbourne, Australia

Supriya Prabhu Mehta
Project Manager
Supriya is an architect/urban planner by profession and has been working with ADPC since 2001. She is responsible for managing projects in relation to developing methodological or technological tools for Disaster Risk Management, and Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Management, such as the Developing Methodology for Damage and Loss Assessment for Gujarat, India and Coastal Risk Analysis for Tsunami and Environmental Remediation. Prior to joining ADPC, Supriya had been involved in projects on housing and architectural conservation in India.

Hnin Nwe Win
Project Manager
Hnin has joined ADPC since 2001 and is responsible for managing projects in relation to capacity building at provincial/district/local levels. She is currently managing ADPC's projects in the lower Mekong Basin on Capacity Building for Flood Preparedness Planning at Provincial and District levels, Flood Emergency Management Strengthening, as well as conducting a study on social impacts of integrated flood management. Before joining ADPC, she has worked as a Research Associate for the Asian Case Clearing House project, School of Management, AIT.

Aslam Perwaiz
Program Coordinator
Aslam joined ADPC since July 2005 as Program Coordinator under the project on Capacity Building for Planning and Implementation of Flood Preparedness Programs at Provincial and District Levels in the Lower Mekong Basin. Prior to joining ADPC, he worked with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), India country office for about four years under the Government of India - UNDP coordinating the implementation of the UNDP-GoI Disaster Risk Management Programme in Delhi , Uttaranchal and Uttar Pradesh in India. He holds a Masters degree in Statistics and has been working in the developmental field for the last ten years.

Arghya Sinha Roy
Project Coordinator
Arghya joined ADPC in July 2004 as a coordinator, based in Gujarat , India , for the Gujarat Project on Developing a Methodology for Damage and Loss Assessment. He has a professional background as a Civil Engineer / Urban and Regional Planner. Currently Arghya is responsible for coordinating ADPC projects in India . Prior to joining ADPC, Arghya has worked with NGOs on projects related to socio economic developments for people affected by Gujarat Earthquake and on research project on economic development of Madhya Pradesh.

Chum Vuthy
national Coordinator, Cambodia
Vuthy joined ADPC in May 2005 as a National Coordinator, Cambodia. He is responsible for implementing the GTZ-MRC-ADPC project on "Flood Emergency Management Strengthening" (FEMS) in Cambodia. Prior to join ADPC, he worked for over 6 years a Program Manager of Community Based Disaster Preparedness and Flood Early Warning System project of the Cambodian Red Cross Society and he served for 7 months as a Humanitarian Accountability Coordinator of Humanitarian Accountability Network, Cambodia .

Thitiphon Sinsupan
Program Coordinator
Thitiphon has joined ADPC since August 2005 as Program Coordinator under the project of the Coastal Risk Analysis of Tsunamis and Environmental Remediation (CRATER). She has a background as a Civil Engineer/Environmental Engineer. Prior to joining ADPC, she worked as a Research Associate for the Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research North-South, NCCR N-S/AIT-Switzerland, related to environmental activities and stakeholder Involvement, School of Environment, Resources and Development, AIT.

Pannawadee Somboon
Administrative Assistant
Pannawadee joined ADPC in August 2005. She is responsible for coordinating administrative and project related activities of DMS team. Prior to joining ADPC, she worked as an International Affairs Officer in the International Program in Engineering at Thammasat University, Thailand. She holds Masters degree in English language from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand..
