Established
in 1950, the University has a number of Faculties in the areas of
Arts, Science, Education, Law, etc. and research centers on Geology,
Biotechnology and others. The University has GIS/ RS facilities and
undertakes a number of academic activities employing GIS and RS tools.
The students come from a wide range of disciplines learning to employ
GIS and RS tools in their respective fields
