About ADPC
The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) is a non-profit organization supporting the advancement of safer communities and sustainable development, through implementing programs and projects that reduce the impact of disasters upon countries and communities in Asia and the Pacific.
ADPC works in the following areas:
> Developing and enhancing sustainable institutional disaster risk management capacities, frameworks and mechanisms, and supporting the development and implementation of government policies
> Facilitating the dissemination and exchange of disaster risk management expertise, experience and information
> Raising awareness and enhancing disaster risk management knowledge and skills.

My name is JBelle Foster and I am a Registered Nurse from Australia. I am also in the final stages of a Master of International Public Health / Master of Public Health. I would like to volunteer to assist in the relief efforts for Thailand’s floods. I am willing and able to assist in any way that is required from medical-related (looking after patients, evacuees) to packing supply kits, sandbags etc. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
