The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) is governed by a Board of Trustees whose composition is international in character and reflecting the nature of the Foundations work. The Board is responsible for policy setting and oversight of the operations of the Foundation according to its objectives and under the Foundations Charter and By-Laws. The Board of Trustees has a maximum membership of 23. As of date, 21 members have accepted membership of the Board. The Partnerships, Development, Information & Research Division serves as the Secretariat of the Board of Trustees. 

Since its establishment in 1999, three annual meetings of the Board of Trustees were held:-

• The 1st Annual Meeting on 21February 2000

• The 2nd Annual Meeting on 31 January 2001

• The 3rd Meeting on 27 February 2002

• The 4th Annual Meeting on 25 June 2003

• The 5th Annual Meeting on 5 April 2005

• The 6th Annual Meeting on 27 October 2005

• The 7th Annual Meeting on 16 June 2006
