FALAK NAWAZ
Training Manager
Falak
joined strategic Disaster Risk Management team (SDRM), ADPC as a
Training Coordinator since 1st November 2004. Prior to joining ADPC,
he was engaged as a Lecturer/Research Associate in National Centre
of Excellence in Geology, University of Peshawar, Pakistan. He has
master degree in Geography (Peshawar, Pakistan) and professional
master degree in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation with
specialization in natural hazard studies (ITC, The Netherlands).
Besides, he got a variety of training and attended conferences/seminars
related to disaster planning and management inside and outside Pakistan.
He has written research papers by focusing his research on flood
and landslide hazard management.

MU MU KYI(Heythee)
Training Coordinator
Heythee joined ADPC in May 2004 as training coordinator of the Strategic Disaster Risk Management Team (SDRM). Prior to joining ADPC, she worked as an outreach assistant at BBC World Service Trust in Chiang Mai, and as a project coordinator at the Capacity Building Initiative Project in Myanmar. She also has working experiences not only in the NGO sector but also other private and public sectors in the fields of administration and management. She holds a MBA from the Institute of Economics, Myanmar and a MBA in International Business from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. She received a certificate of Asia Pacific Leadership Program (APLP) from the East-West Center, Hawaii in January 2005.

JIANG
LING LING
Program Manager(China & North-East Asia)
Ling Ling has a range of responsibilities to manage
and develop China programs and projects. She is responsible for
developing future co-operation programs in North - East Asian countries.
Furthermore, she is responsible for coordination of relevant affairs
of China and North - East Asia within ADPC.
Prior to joining ADPC, Ling Ling worked in the
government sector in China. She holds a Master of Business Administration
(MBA) degree in International Business from the Asian Institute
of Technology.

BENJAPORN
SUTTHIPRAPA
Training Coordinator
Ms. Benjaporn joined ADPC since 1994. She has a total of 15 years experience on financial and administrative. She worked in the training course team to serve all ADPC’s international, regional and national courses logistically as well as technically. She has served as lecturer for the 33rd Disaster Management Course and also has provided ADPC a wide range of experience in Community Based Disaster Risk Management. She has worked with local governments, NGOs in Philippines, Banda Aceh, Indonesia and Lao in CBDRM and Disaster Management contexts. She has been working closely with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation in developing CBDRM Leaderships Networking. She has conducted the series of Crisis Management Course for Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Public Health Sectors, NGOs and all stakeholders in 6 Tsunami effected provinces in the South of Thailand. She has provided technical assistance as well as served as trainer to IUCN in Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis in Thailand and Lao. She has conducted CBDRM for staff and stakeholders of World Vision Thailand and Thai Red Cross. She has developed the applicable training methods on CBDRM to be used with field officers and local community level. She has provided technical assistance as well as implementing CBDRM in Ranong, Thailand supported by USAID through the Asian Institute of Technology.
