Training, Resource Materials, and Continuing Education (TRMCE) The Training, Resource Materials and Continuing Education component of AUDMP provides project countries with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to effectively implement their pilot projects. Institutionalization for the training will be promoted by establishing partnerships with national training institutions. This component will also produce comprehensive disaster mitigation curricula, which will contribute to expanding future opportunities for further study and professional development in this field. The TRMCE serves as a support component to the overall AUDMP project, particularly to the national demonstration projects. Its immediate aim is to equip project agencies and officials with the necessary technical skills they may require in order to successfully implement their activities. The long-term aim, however, is to develop a set of professional development and information resources on urban mitigation that can be further expanded upon, and continue to be used as tools to develop the capacity within the region, after AUDMP is completed.
