AUDMP Information and Networking Strategy
12. Where to Focus First
Taken together, the analysis above covers a wide area and a range of
activities. Clearly some prioritization is essential. Although the relative
importance of these activities will not become fully clear before most
of the project sites have been visited, and these issues discussed, it
is possible to pick out some of the activities that should be given close
and early attention. Priority ratings have been attached to most of the
suggested activities. In general, in approaching the implementation of
information systems as a whole, the following activities need to be done
early:
- Build up a more detailed picture of country and city-level needs
- Ensure that the key decision makers can communicate effectively
- Develop project introductions and briefing material
- Develop Project Launch packs for technical staff
- Establish a simple storage system for mailed update material to encourage
users to keep it together.
- Collate information resource guides, FAQs and FEPs in each major subject
