for Contributions to Primer on Disaster Risk Management in Asia
The
Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) seeks case studies/photographs
on demonstration activities, training and awareness-building activities,
drills and preparedness activities for inclusion to its upcoming
publication "Disaster Risk Management Primer for Asia".
Selected items will be published with acknowledgement to authors/sources.

Research Proposals Solicitation
The National
Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHERP) is soliciting multidisciplinary
and multi-year project proposals from educational institutions,
private firms, private foundations, individuals, and agencies of
state and local governments. NEHERP aims to provide products for
earthquake loss reduction to the public and private sectors and
by carrying out research on earthquake occurrence and effects.

Call for Contributions to a Post Cyclone Database
The
Center for Disaster Studies and Emergency Management Australia is
inviting cyclone-related posts, research reports, articles, and
other relevant information for inclusion to its "Post Cyclone
Database". The database contains information regarding lessons
learned, research methods used, key findings, events, types of survey,
full text links, and institutions involved in post cyclone surveys
conducted worldwide.This is an opportunity to establish links with
research institutions, governments, and disaster organizations.
