CALLS FOR SUBMISSION

Call for Submission for the 5th Cycle Dubai International Award for Best Practices

The Dubai International Award for Best Practices aim to recognize and enhance awareness of outstanding and sustainable achievements in improving the living environment as per the basic criteria established by the Second United Nations Conference on Human Settlements (Habitat II) and the Dubai Declaration. This includes improved disaster preparedness, mitigation and reconstruction. The deadline for submission of potential best practices is 31 March 2004.

On World Habitat Day in October 2004, Dubai Municipality will present the fifth Dubai International Award to a new group of 10 Best Practices. The total amount of the award is USD400,000.

Call for Papers
