Workshop on Seismic Risks and Earthquake Resistant Buildings in Bengkulu (11-12 September 2000)
 

The objective of the workshop is to increase the awareness of the decision makers on the seismic risks in Bengkulu and the actions to reduce them.  The expected participants are DPRD, officials, related institutions, consultants, contractors, LSM, universities, etc.

The workshop is being organized jointly by the Bengkulu Municipality Government in collaboration with the Research Institute of ITB (IUDMP) and the University of Bengkulu.

Training For The Rehabilitation And Retrofitting Of Buildings Damaged By Earthquake (13-16 September 2000)
 

The objective of the training course is to provide technical understanding on the rehabilitation of buildings damaged by earthquakes.  The expected participants are:

  • Technical designer (Public Works Dept., building owner, LSM, universities)
  • Field Technical Inspector
  • Inspection Consultant
  • Executive from the Contractor
The training course is being organized jointly by the Bengkulu Municipality Government in collaboration with the Research Institute of ITB (IUDMP) and the University of Bengkulu.
