Memorial Scholarship
The Brian
Ward Memorial Scholarship offers scholarship to disaster management
practitioners who demonstrate outstanding commitment to safe
communities through disaster risk reduction practices.
The
scholarship entails an opportunity for granted scholars to attend
the “Regional Training Course on Disaster Management (DMC)”, one of
ADPC flagship courses. The DMC is deeply rooted in the history of
ADPC and the 41st DMC will be held in 2011 marking the 25th
anniversary for both ADPC and DMC itself. ADPC is delighted to
announce the “Brian Ward Scholarship” to our dear alumni who have
devoted themselves in the progression of disaster risk reduction
practices. One alumnus will be selected as a Brian Ward Scholar for
each of the DMC trainings.
