Pannawadee joined ADPC in 2005 and is responsible for coordinating administrative and project related activities for the Safer Development Planning and Implementation department.

Prior to joining ADPC, she worked as an international affairs officer in the international program on engineering at Thammasat University, Thailand. She holds a Master's Degree in English language from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.

Nadia works as a DRR Mainstreaming Specialist for the Safer Development Planning and Implementation Department. She has over eight years of professional experience in the international development field with focus on disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.

Prior to working with ADPC, Nadia has worked for several disaster risk reduction projects and programmes in the Philippines, India, Nepal, and other parts of Southeast Asia.

Nadia has a Graduate Diploma Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Philippines and a Masters Degree in Sustainable International Development in Brandeis University.


   
Mr. Rowan Fraser

Rowan Fraser works as Disaster Risk Reduction Mainstreaming Specialist providing technical assistance to a number of national and local governments across Asia with a focus on integrating environmental risk management into urban development and planning. His work also includes project management on intergovernmental and technical assistance projects, undertaking research and preparing communications and knowledge products on policy and institutional development for urban disaster risk reduction and environmental risk management in cities.

His previous research and hands-on experience lies within a number of urban sectors for government agencies, universities and intergovernmental organizations and includes urban planning, municipal fiscal policy, social housing, land use planning, environmental risk management, and utilities. He also holds international field experience in countries including Tonga, France, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan.

Mr. Fraser holds his Masters in Urban and Regional Policy from Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris, France as well as a Master of Architecture from University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Dr. Prashar's work as Program Coordinator focuses on the implementation of ongoing programs of mainstreaming DRR/CCA into development planning and implementation processes in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, he undertakes desk research, prepares analytical reports and guidelines, coordinates with governments and development partners, organizes and facilitates training programs and helps prepare content for training modules/manuals.

Prior to being Program Coordinator, Dr. Prashar was a Consultant for ADPC since October 2012.

Dr. Prashar earned his Ph.D. in Global Environmental Studies/Management from Kyoto University in Japan. He has several published works in international peer reviewed journals and wrote many book chapters in the area of urban risk, disaster risk reduction, environment management, climate change, community-based disaster risk reduction and resilience assessment.

Prior to joining ADPC, Than Than worked in the international trading sector in Myanmar. She has graduated from Yangon Arts and Science University, Myanmar majoring in English language.
